For four years, secondary progressive multiple sclerosis Dr. Terry Wahls limited to a wheelchair with tilt recline. However, by using functional medicine to create the Wahls Protocol, Dr. Wahls has transformed their health and body :. Now she walks without a cane easily and bicycle trips
She did this even though, multiple sclerosis has no known cure. According to Wikipedia:
“Multiple sclerosis (MS abbreviated, known as disseminated sclerosis or disseminated encephalomyelitis) is an inflammatory disease in which pods fatty myelin around the axons of the brain and spinal cord is damaged, resulting in demyelination and scarring, and a broad spectrum of signs and symptoms.
MS affects the ability of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord to communicate with each other effectively. In MS, own attacks the body’s immune system and damages the myelin. When myelin is lost, the axons can no longer effectively conduct signals. Although much is known about the mechanisms involved in the disease process, the cause remains unknown. theories include genetics or infections. Different environmental risk factors have also been found.
Almost any neurological symptom can appear with the disease, and leads to physical and cognitive disability. MS takes several forms, with new symptoms occurring either in discrete attacks (relapsing forms) or slowly accumulating over time (progressive forms).
There is no known cure for multiple sclerosis. Treatments attempt to return function after an attack, prevent new attacks, and prevent disability. MS medications can have adverse effects or be poorly tolerated, and many patients rely on alternative treatments, despite the lack of support for scientific studies
While I am not qualified to judge whether what Dr. Wahls made itself constitutes a “cure”, which already has no apparent symptoms, and did so by dumping the best “care” and drugs available on the world.
“Years Too many of us have passed, sometimes decades, our cells do not provide the basic components needed to perform the chemistry of life properly.” ~ Dr. Terry Wahls
