In reflection of the Month Mental Health of Children ;

May was Mental Health Month Children. Gen Beresin wrote about the pervasiveness of mental illness (approximately 1 in 4 people will experience a mental illness in his life), making statements such as: “We must also bear in mind that no individual or family is not touched by mental illness. “She highlights the stigma associated with mental illness, which so often prevents people from seeking help. She asks his readers to think a little more about why label and isolate those who suffer from mental illnesses, we chose to maintain mental illness “in the closet,” why unaccepting and intolerant of those who they are different from us. Now I charge the task of taking the first step and educate yourself about mental health, learning from those who have suffered mental illness and talk to their children “about the psychological challenges we all face.”
