The link between the TLP and treatment-resistant depression ;

Doctors are discovering that some cases of treatment-resistant depression – depression that does not respond to antidepressant drugs – are not really cases diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. While the answer does not cover all cases, it is interesting to note that some cases are being misdiagnosed. When all of a patient’s symptoms are seen together, a diagnosis of major depressive disorder is made when in fact the symptoms are “very typical of depression in BPD.”
