Herbal Doctor Remedies has issued a voluntary recall nationwide for all of its medications that were sold without the approval of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. UU. The regulator said that products intended to be used as Chinese medicinal herbs could pose a potential risk to consumers, "as they are marketed with the intended uses that are not susceptible to self-diagnosis." However, Herbal Doctor Remedies has not received any reports of adverse events. The recalled products were distributed and sold throughout the country through online sales through various websites. These medications can also be purchased through acupuncturists or other alternative medicine providers. Medications are packaged in white plastic containers with screw caps. They can be identified with a white adhesive label of the Hered Doctor Remedies brand. They also have red, green and blue writing with a product expiration. Herbal Doctor Remedies is preparing for the return of all products recalled.
