journalist, author and political commentator Andrew Marr expressed his support for the search for stroke survivors to enter in life after stroke Awards 2015.
Organized by the stroke Association, the awards recognize the achievements of all those affected by the disease, including survivors, caregivers, volunteers, these clubs and professionals health.
“These awards pay tribute to the characters, grit and determination of the extraordinary people who have been through the devastating consequences of stroke,” said Mr. Marr.
He encouraged those who know of people who have dealt with the consequences of a stroke and they deserve recognition nominate them to the awards.
Mr. Marr had a stroke in January 2013 and was in the hospital for two months. He returned to the presentation of The Andrew Marr on 1 September 2013.
Nominations for the awards are open until January 30, 2015. The winners will be invited to the awards ceremony on June 25, 2015 in the Rosewood Hotel in London.
