So … a loved one suffers from bipolar disorder ;

In an article for Psych Central, a writer discusses how she met her husband in AA and knew he uses alcohol to cope his depressed state. She explains that he was so open about his struggles with alcohol and depression, “how debilitating her condition was” which was diagnosed as bipolar disorder . She knew going into her relationship with him that things would not always be easy, but the recognition and treatment was key to their mental health and success of their relationship. “My husband never made excuses for his behavior towards people -. He returned immediately to your doctor and worked out a medical program that would increase its stability” One of the most important lessons he learned was to be able to separate mental illness the person suffering from it.

The conclusion is: There are ways to overcome the difficulties that mental disorders contribute to a relationship. True love will always find a way.
